Reminder: Binding accounts only goes one way; that is, the character on the Steam account is bound to the International Edition account. When binding, if there is already a character on the International Edition account, it will be permanently overwritten. Please be careful when binding, so as to make sure that you don’t overwrite any characters you want to keep (especially if your Steam character is weaker than the one on your International Edition account).

 

Here are the following situations that appear to have occurred the most according to the feedback we’ve received:

 

Situation 1

You have purchased the Steam version of the game and you have a character on the account. The purpose of binding, in this case, would be to bind the character on your Steam account to your International Edition account. Once binding is successful, you will be able to log in on both the Steam version of the game as well as the International Edition.

Situation 2

You have the game on a Steam family shared account but haven’t purchased the game, and this account has a character on it. The purpose of binding, in this case, would be to bind the character on your Steam account to a newly-purchased International Edition account. Once binding is successful, you will no longer be able to play the Steam version of the game. You will only be able to login on the International Edition account.

Situation 3

You have already purchased the game on Steam, but your Steam account does not have a character on it (or your character has been deleted). You will not be able to bind accounts in this situation, because you don’t have a character to bind. If you create a new character, then refer to Situation 1.

 

Situation 4

You have the game on a Steam family shared account but haven’t purchased the game yourself, and this account does not have a character on it (or your character has been deleted). You will not be able to bind accounts in this situation, because you don’t have a character to bind.
