Myth of Empires - Persia DLC First Look

Dear players,

Since the release of Myth of Empires V1.0 earlier this year, the game has received numerous content updates, including the Hellenic Civilization Pack, which introduced the first new civilization to the game since its inception. Today, we’re going to give you a first look at Persia, the next civilization that will be coming to Myth of Empires. Unlike the Hellenic Civilization Pack, the Persia DLC will not only add new equipment, weapons, tools, and gameplay, it will also add a brand-new map. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

Compared to the lush green of the Zhongzhou continent and the alluring blue of Zhongzhou Island, the region the Persian civilization calls home lacks water, is tormented by sandstorms, and features towering rocks. Nearly the entire region is covered in desert, with only a few scattered oases offering signs of life - this land is a vast and unforgiving one

Nevertheless, this desert borders multiple other civilizations, and many soldiers are stationed here. Despite years of war, none of these civilizations have managed to completely conquer this place. They’ve each built their own strongholds and fortresses to fend off enemy invasions, at the same time fighting skirmishes against hostile indigenous tribes, but the situation overall is one of stalemate. That is, until one day when a group of desperate foreign barbarians invade and unearth a mysterious legend buried deep beneath the sands...

Survival is very difficult in this desert world. Resources are more scarce, especially those collected from vegetation. The region’s various forces are also entrenched in their positions; as the vanguards of their respective factions, their strongholds are well-armed and hard to conquer. The new map also features a vast underground in which players will uncover mysterious legends in their search for rare treasures. These dark depths are home to strange creatures, and anything can happen.

On this new map, players will come into contact with new animals, equipment, weapons, and tools. They will also utilize wind and fire to generate energy, use gunpowder-based items, employ methods of transportation for use in special environments, and build massive structures. We will reveal more details about this DLC in upcoming announcements, so stay tuned!

The Myth of Empires Persia DLC is expected to be released end of this year. Players are welcome to share their ideas and feedback regarding future development content in our official communities and forums.
