Myth of Empires will introduce new content on January 16th, and the Happy Spring Festival Events are also ready for takeoff, which will last from January 23rd until February 16th, one day after the lantern festival, which concludes the celebration of the Chinese New Year. We have included many surprises for you. Let's have a first look at the upcoming new contents! 

Below are the four significant updates that will be released starting January 16th.

I. War Rhino Tank
The giant multifunctional saddle, the War Rhino Tank, has gained prominence ever since its debut. Now, after several tests and refinements, we can finally witness its dominance in the game on January 17th. You can mount a battering ram, war drum, flamethrower, small battering ram, and war scythes on this giant saddle to make it more powerful and even redefine the tactics on the battlefield. It's time to rule the battlefield with the brand-new war rhino tank.
And don't forget about the saddle for another powerful beast: the War Elephant! The War Elephant Tank is also eager to charge onto the battlefield, and slice and dice the enemy! We expect to see its overwhelming presence in the game in a subsequent update.

II. Multifunctional Foundation
Treehouse is coming! After many adjustments and optimizations, the second version of the treehouse foundation, The Multifunctional Foundation, is finally ready. You can place it on a giant tree and even upon cliffs. It’s a good chance for MoE's architects to shine!

III. Dressing Table
For those who care about the appearance of their characters and warriors, the dressing table is here! The new year brings new feelings and fresh hope…possibly even new faces. You will now be able to customize the face of your character and warriors, so come and try your hand at some cosmetology!

IV. Musical Instrument: Dragon War Drum
The Dragon War Drum is used to send signals and raise morale during battle. Now you can slaughter your enemies to a beat! 
Bronze Chime Bells are also on the way, followed by more traditional instruments in future updates.

New item: Traps
Don't be too smug when you gain an advantage on the battlefield; your inattention could be your downfall! From January 17th to the Lunar New Year Event, we will introduce two traps: Common Spike Floor and Common Arrow Wall, which you can use to increase your buildings' defenses. More traps will be introduced in the near future!

The Lunar New Year Event will start on January 23rd. Below are the four major updates for this event. 

I. Money Tree (January 22nd 16:00 – February 16th 16:00 UTC)
Players can pray for blessings at the money tree once a day. Then, rare materials will randomly airdrop into the player's inventory! Some lucky players can even get Fireworks, Firecrackers, New Year Decorations, and more!

II. Let there be Fish (January 22nd 16:00 – Feb.16th 16:00 UTC)
Good news for fish lovers! You can use the harpoon to spear fish or cast the fish rod to catch some by the river. During the event, you will have a chance to get Spring Carp, which can be exchanged for refined fish oil. Carp symbolizes wealth and success. "Yu," fish, and surplus, are homophonous in Mandarin Chinese. More fish will bring you more surpluses, including wealth and prosperity. Let there be fish every year, and we sincerely wish you good fortune in the Year of the Tiger.

III. Spring Limited Special Offers (January 22nd 16:00 – Feb.16th 16:00 UTC) 
You can buy one Mount Spirit Pill from the Guild Shop every day during the event. Mount Spirit Pills can add life spirit for your mounts, which is especially useful for your heavenly horses.

IV. Godsends (January 30th 16:00 to Feb.16th 16:00 UTC)
You will encounter Spring Sky Lanterns containing treasure as they fall everywhere at night in the game. Open the treasure chest, and you will have a chance to get some important consumable items for crafting materials. If you are lucky, you may even get other New Year surprises, such as Lantern Firecrackers, Spring Firecrackers, Fireworks, and more.
